High performance custom surfboards

Shortboards - Step Ups - Guns

Since 1991

The Controller has a single concave bottom, refined rails, and a smooth round tail outline . Using a high-performance rocker, this design combines speed and performance in small waves with an ability to step-up when the surf gets bigger.  6'0" quad shown.
6'2" Controller as a Twinzer
The Survivor is a step-up with a single to double concave bottom and vee through a round pin tail. This design paddles and handles drops like a board several inches longer, but with a reduced nose outline and a high-performance rocker, it surfs like a short board. 6'4" 5-fin shown.

The Cruz  is a high performance bigger shortboard design. It's comes as a thruster with a full single concave bottom transitioning to two medium-length channels in a round pin tail. A subtle wing just above the front fins loosens up turns. 7'0" shown

The Dua is the base high-performance shortboard design from Brost. It's your daily ripper with a single concave bottom. Using a high-performance rocker that's not too curvy, the Dua provides radical turning with an ability to paddle well and catch waves.  A squash tail with a break in the outline at the front fins allows quick direction changes and smooth transitions. Refined rails and an EPS and epoxy construction make this board light, fast, and responsive. 5'10" shown as a Twin(zer) with two short channels out the tail
The Escape has a full single concave bottom, distinct wings just above the font thruster fins, and a swallow tail. It's a small wave ripper that performs as the surf picks up and gets hollower. 5'11" shown
The Riptide has an 80's inspired outline with a bump just behind the front fins for increased maneuverability. A single concave bottom and low rocker make this design perfect for catching waves and shredding. 5'10" quad shown

7'8" pin tail with reverse vee. Built to charge.
7'6" pin tail thruster with a reverse vee bottom and glassed on fins.
6'10" pin tail, 6'8" round pin. These are for steep drops, hollow sections, and barrels.  Using dense blanks, thick stringers, and strong glassing, these designs are constructed for travel and powerful waves.
7'8" pin tail retired by a heavy day in the surf. Even with the best construction, the ocean always wins.
